Common Questions

How long does the average visa process take?
Timing varies by visa type, document readiness, appointments, and government processing. After reviewing your intake, we provide a realistic sequence and explain which steps are outside EcuaPass’s control.
Do I need to speak Spanish to apply?
No. EcuaPass helps coordinate routine government communication and certified translations. Translation work and other third-party charges are quoted and paid separately.
Can I apply while I am still in my home country?
In many cases, document preparation can begin before you travel. We review your situation and tell you which steps can be completed remotely and which appointments may require your presence.
Is health insurance mandatory for residency?
Requirements vary by visa type and can change. We identify the current document requirement for your intended category as part of your case checklist.
What happens if my visa is rejected?
No service can guarantee approval. If a submitted application receives a procedural rejection and you remain eligible, full service includes one reasonable corrected reapplication. New government, translation, and other third-party costs are separate; appeals and legal representation are not included.
