Registered Sponsor Organization

Official invitation or volunteer agreement from a registered Ecuadorian nonprofit, foundation, religious, humanitarian, or public institution with legal standing to sponsor a foreign volunteer.

Background Check

Apostilled criminal background check from your country of origin, translated into Spanish. Must be valid within 180 days on arrival. Required for applicants 18 and older.

Health & Financial Coverage

National or international health policy valid in Ecuador, plus proof of financial means for personal expenses. Government fees: $50 application + $200 visa grant.

Yes. A spouse and dependent children can be added to your application. They'll need their own apostilled background check, passport, and proof of relationship.
